Creating A Forest Garden: 10 day course over 2 weeks

Forest gardens are a way of growing food in a low-maintenance, productive polyculture which makes the most efficient use of space and natural processes. Learn all about forest gardens and get a qualification on the way on this exciting new course! This is its third incarnation, this time as a two week course. One week in December, one week in March. You can gain 16 credits, a nationally recognised level 2 Award in Horticulture and a new unit 'Creating A Forest Garden'. This course is for people who are passionate about plants, especially the edible ones.

Saturday Open day & workday

 

Due to popular demand, we are now opening our gates every third Saturday of the month.  A good opportunity for some informal training in forest gardening and the design process, whist rolling up your sleeves to get stuck into whatever needs doing!

We will be located at DIFFERENT SITES around the park - often planting trees and shrubs, working at Manor House Lodge, or at the nursery site. Please call 07733 330379  /  07804 596645 to find out where to meet.

Come and join us on our Friday sessions! Find out about the project over a cuppa, learn about forest gardening, meet others, and help out with whatever needs doing.
